Please let us know if you have any specific class requests! Instructors Shannon Kennedy and Juan Bohorquez bring 18 years of combined jewelry making experience to their classes.
They are award winning designers who teach at Mohawk College, George Brown College (workshops), Ontario Crafts Council, Ottawa School of Arts, Harbourfront Center and other institutions in Ontario and Canada.

PMC Basics I
Location: Kitchener, Ontario
Come and learn the techniques to work with this amazing
material and apply your own design to the projects!
Class length: 4 classes of 3 hours each. 12 hours total.
Class Schedule: Mondays and Wednesdays
Days 10am - 1pm
Evenings 6 to 9 pm

This course introduces the basics of jewellery making using PMC (Precious Metal Clay). Topics include principles of design, properties of PMC, basic tools and basic tool creation, PMC carving, make and use of molds and stamps, firing, finishing and polishing. Students should complete four finished pieces.
Projects:
1.Relief Earrings PMC Original
2.Hollow Bead PMC +
3.Painted Paste Leaf Pendant PMC +
4.Free Project
The cost is $240 plus GST, all materials included, plus a basic tool kit.
Students will take the tool kit and their remaining PMC home with them.
We are also offering free firing for students 2 months from the last class.
JEWELRY MAKING AND METALSMITHING BEGINNER
Learn how to make jewelry using traditional jewelry techniques.
Learn these basic jewelry methods using a jewelry saw, soldering torch, flex shaft, rolling mill, files and other jewelry tools.
The participants will learn basic techniques in piercing, sawing, filing, soldering and finishing
Students will create their own rings, pendant and earrings, using their own designs and applying the learned techniques.
Cost: $335 (this includes copper and 10 grams of Sterling Silver)

Boot Camp for PMC lovers!!
An 8 hour Intensive PMC class offered for those who like to cram it all in one day!! The cost is $240 plus GST, all technical information provided, PMC, stones and a basic tool kit are included. All you need is to bring a lunch and your inspiration!!!! Snacks will be provided.
Class time is: 9:30am to 6 pm (includes half hour break for lunch)
